Sales Trainee

Sales Trainee will go through a detailed training program in preparation for assuming the role of a Sales Consultant. Secure contracts for the purchase of new homes, assist in securing financing and help choose selections for the new home. Coordinate activities of administrative personnel. Organize, manage and monitor sales office activities in order to ensure efficient opening and closing of community sales office.Write an agreement of sale and negotiate the contract in order to close the sale of a K. Hovnanian home. Review and process in a timely manner all material pertaining to contracts: letters, decorator selection and closing statements. Check models for cleanliness. Make weekly broker visits and stay in touch with local realtor community by follow up phone calls and correspondence. Assist with the planning and opening of new home communities.Preferred candidate will have a college degree and at least one year experience as an office manager, preferably in a real estate sales office.
