Sales Support Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for performing all sales/support functions including but not limited to: editing, entry, proofing, maintenance and filing of customer orders; preparing "job packets" for Manufacturing; hold file follow up; monitoring and assisting with non-production-ready orders; issuing credits, returns and remakes.
-Communicates with customer to resolve questions and issues about their orders through phone, FAX, e-mail and mail to assure we will meet their requirements.
-Manages the distribution and response to all mail, e-mail, faxes, phone or other methods of communication from the customer including purchase orders, credits, proofs, quotation requests or other correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
-Responsible for quoting all customer requests in assigned territory in a professional, well documented and timely manner.
-Responsible for a $25,000-$30,000 increase in sales for both new and repeat business each fiscal year in the specified territory.
-Responsible for supporting any and all of the outside Sales Representatives including but not limited to the communication of internal policies and procedures, leads, quoting support, and all other customer-related issues.
-Assists in coordinating new processes of Sales Service Flow for both internal needs and external vendors, focusing on ways to be both efficient and cost effective.
-Works closely with Design and Manufacturing to provide error-free proofs.
-Works with Forecasting to resolve product availability issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Responsible for actively pursuing prior year and lost business in a routine, systematic manner.
-Provides reporting as requested by Supervisor including but not limited to credit analysis, remake analysis, monthly update in a routine, systematic manner.
-Performs other related duties as required for the efficient operation of the department, or as directed by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to communicate with external and internal customers in a friendly and professional manner.
-Excellent knowledge of catalogs, products, pricing structures, costing and profitability.
-Knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and processes.
-Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet schedules and works with a sense of urgency.
-Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with sharing of responsibilities of meet customer demands.
-Ability and strong desire to provide excellent service to the customer.
-General computer skills with above average keyboard skills.
-The completion of a high school diploma with minimum of 2 years experience or equivalent.
