Sales Representatives-Base Salary+Commission+Full Benefits

Wachovia, one of the nation’s leading banks and full service brokerage firm, is looking for Financial Sales Representatives in Houston, TX and surrounding areas.

The #1 Objective is to sell banking services to new walk-in customers, existing customers and to strategic small businesses within your territory.

Responsibilities/Job Description
Wachovia offer sales professionals world-class financial products to sell. As a Financial Specialist, you will develop and strengthen loan, deposit, mutual fund and annuity business working with clients by phone and face-to-face. Your customer base includes both retail and small businesses.

35%-40% Qualify and sell walk-in business referred to you at local branch office during office hours.
50% Consult, assess, and sell long-term financial services/products to existing Wachovia banking customers through warm calls. Schedule appointments before, during and after bank hours.
5%-10% Form partnerships with strategic businesses to offer employees or members Wachovia banking benefits.

Compensation/Benefits
Base Salary (between $40K – 45k) + Unlimited Commission
1st yr: 10k – 20k on top of salary
2nd yr: double your salary
3rd yr: triple your salary (opportunity to exceed 6 figures)

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
2+ years face-to-face sales experience (not customer service)
College degree strongly preferred.
Banking and/or knowledge of financial products a plus but NOT required. Eventually Series 6/63 licensing is required. Wachovia offers extensive training programs and will assist in obtaining licensing
