We currently have openings for Sales Representatives in Southern California. We need reps for the West Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, East Los Angeles and the Orange County territories. We are an industry leader in the wholesale distribution of food packaging, janitorial and industrial packaging products since 1984. We sell to restaurants, bakeries, hospitals, hotels and food processors.


Job Description


Manages accounts within assigned territories to target new opportunities, collect information on accounts and prepare sales strategies. Builds and maintains relationships with both existing and new accounts and capitalizes on opportunities to increase product depth and effectiveness in those accounts. Maximizes profits through effective pricing, product mix, and account management (lines per order, order drop size, profits per drop, controlling accounts receivable). Handles problems with accounts professionally and efficiently in order to maintain the relationship, promote goodwill, protect and enhance the company’s reputation, and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales. Maintains up to date knowledge of our product line, pricing, services, market needs, and competitor practices. Prepares required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Collects money from accounts and handles it in accordance with established procedure. Participates in Market activities, i.e., sales meetings, food shows, product training sessions, and promotional programs in order to promote sales, increase product knowledge and maintain good customer relations.

REQUIREMENTS
• At least 2-3 years of sales experience
• Food service experience is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
