Sales Representative - Collocation & Internet Connectivity
iland Internet Solutions Corporation(http://www.ilandinternet.com), a Houston based Value Added Reseller of colocation, internet connectivity, Managed Security and Networking, and other managed IT services, is seeking an entry-level sales professional to sell colocation, private line, direct internet access, and managed IT services to commercial accounts in the United States and Europe. This is a new position. Over 90% of all opportunities that this individual will work on are brought in through iland's succesful lead generation strategy. iland is looking for a committed sales professional with a technical background who is looking for a long term position in a growing company. A limited amount of travel may be required.
The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree, have a minor in a technical field, and 1 year of work experience. Must be a quick learner and be able to understand computer and communications technology.

Responsibilities
Developing strong customer relationships, exploring incoming opportunities and prospecting for new business
Developing solutions by analyzing customer needs and making sales presentations to highlight iland’s solutions
Following up to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Understands telecommunications and data products and sales goals by studying technical literature; reviewing sales objectives, quotas, and plans; participating in sales meetings.
Builds and expand accounts by maintaining rapport; answering requests; introducing new products and services, and upgrades; studying account needs; coordinating with customer service.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.•Follow company guidelines for tracking opportunities, closing sales, and submitting orders in corporate CRM system.
Submits orders by obtaining account detail; coordinating requirements with installation and service.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
4 Year college degree with at least a 3.0 GPA
1 year of work experience in sales preferred
Good working knowledge of computers and windows software highly desireable
Qualified candidate will be results-oriented, and have the drive to meet sales quotas.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
Salary and Benefits
Base Salary of $34-$37k. First year Target salary with commissions is over $55k, with unlimited commission potential. A good sales person should be able to earn well over $80k. Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual commission structure.
