Sales Representative

Retail Sales RepresentativeRetail Sales Reps will work with remodelers and retail customers in their homes and out of our window stores and Windowscaping Centers providing quotes and technical assistance to consumers interested in replacing their windows while working with our Certified Pella Installers to ensure excellent customer service. We'll help you learn the product, overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers, build and maintain customer relationships, accurately read, interpret, and take-off blueprints, use electronic software (PDQ, MSOffice, etc.) to quote, sell and order products and assist in providing prompt and on-time delivery. To increase success, retail sales reps should provide selling tools, coordinate with other sales reps, orchestrate cross segment contacts, be a member of various trade organizations, visit college architectural programs and give presentations on Pella when applicable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Call on homeowners, contractors, and/or other customersGenerate leads - prospectFollow up on your leads, as well as those generated by the sales branch officesWork out of our beautiful showrooms and take products and demonstrations to the customer’s locationNegotiate and sell products and servicesObtain new customersHandle all organization, detail, and records for your customer baseDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with builders, contractors, architects and trade organizationsProvide follow up and excellent customer service to prospective and current customers
