Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Skill Sets: The successful candidate will work well independently, is highly organized, detailed, and analytical. A collaborative team player with a bias toward taking action, ownership, and accountability. A strong understanding of independent producers, distribution, life insurance, annuities, investments, and a keen appreciation of the SD/ING value proposition.1. Develop and maintain national database of desirable/profiled producers.
2. Establishing production criteria, researching and confirming producer productivity requirements, background checks, and status within existing organization/broker dealer.
3. Cold calling, mailing, data gathering, reporting on producers/producer groups.
4. Working in concert with Managing Directors, Sales Vice Presidents, IFP management/recruiting coordinators, and Strategic Distribution channel management to identify, contact, recruit, and retain top tier producers or producer groups within established guidelines/profile.
5. Coordination of all activities associated with bringing in new producers and ensuring a seamless implementation/integration into ING SD and ING Financial Partners broker dealer.Internal/External Business Relationships: The candidate will coordinate all producer implementation activities for SD and with ING Financial Partners broker dealer licensing and contracting and will work in a complementary fashion throughout the acquisition/implementation process.What else can we tell you?
Principal Objective of Position: The candidate will be the primary coordinator of the ING Strategic Distribution registered representative/large group prospect database. The candidate will be responsible for development and day-to-day maintenance of a national database of registered producers and large groups. Working in concert with SD Manager Directors, Sales Vice Presidents, and ING Financial Partners to profile, research, contact, monitor, recruit, and retain desirable registered representatives. The candidate will promote management’s strategic recruiting initiatives and assist in the implementation, and roll out of new producers. This individual will research, cold call, mail, schedule meetings, develop acquisition strategies/priorities based on representative, company, geographic opportunities, and will be accountable for meeting specific activity/production goals associated with recruiting.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience within retail financial services industry. Well versed in life insurance, annuities, and investment products. BA or BS required, Series 6 or 7 required, CLU preferred.
