Sales Manager for Cruise Group Incentive Travel

SUMMARY:
Responsible for individual and team revenue generation from Travel Partner, Incentive Houses and Corporate Direct customers in a tele-sales environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Receives or places telephone calls to Incentive Houses, Travel Companies or Corporate Direct customers to negotiate, quote and close group travel business.·Emphasizes marketable features/benefits to persuade customers to book groups.
·Qualifies prospects needs and presents alternatives to secure the business, drafts and executes contracts to maximize yield and close the business.·Makes outbound follow up calls and mail packages.·Proactively makes outbound contacts with past customers and follows up on lead generations·Handles inbound sales lead, and convert calls into sales.·Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction on any customized cruise requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
·5 years related sales experience;·Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and cruise industry software packages.
·Some college strongly preferred, college degree a plus.·Excellent communication skills-written and verbal·Self motivated and work independently
·Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail and follow through.
