The Opportunity:
A Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is seeking a Government Sales Manager to generate sales, in a business development role, within the federal government market. We are looking for the right person to combine our past performance and SDVOSB status to contribute to Wireless Enterprises growth.
The Responsibilities:
Within this role, your primary focus will be government agencies, developing and nurturing relationships and closing deals.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsible for identifying, qualifying, capturing, and securing professional services based programs in the Federal Government marketplace.
Build new business via relationship management and relationship building. When necessary - cold calling, client/prospect visits, creative marketing, networking, etc.
Develop winning sales strategies, taking into consideration key client factors, such as compelling events, critical success factors, stated and un-stated requirements and the decision-making landscape.
Provide information and reports-pipeline and account plan updates-to inform management of sales progress and success.
Assist in the development of winning government proposals maximizing competitiveness through market intelligence, client intelligence and competitive pricing intelligence.
The Rewards:
Base salary commensurate with experience + Commissions.
Total package range from $ 140 - $ 160K.

REQUIREMENTS:
The Right Candidate:
We seek a self started, enthusiastic individual that has direct government sales experience; focus on government set asides a plus. The right candidate will demonstrate a high-level of professionalism, self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate and personal goals.
You can provide examples of winning contracts with federal government agencies and/or developing profitable subcontracting work or larger programs.
The Required Skills/Experience:
You must have a comprehensive understanding of the full federal government sales cycle and solid government sales experience and you excel at relationship management. Successful experience negotiating valuable prime work as well as sub-contract work is desired. You will have a solid understand of federal procurement procedures and regulations. You will demonstrate solid experience establishing and building relationships and the ability to influence decision makers at the highest levels. You'll have a minimum of 3+ years experience within the federal market place. Your background will contain federal business development and sales experience demonstrated by sustained revenue contribution of at least $1M annually.
