Sales Manager/Director of Sales

Position Description:
Lead, direct and implement company sales and training strategies. Energize sales by inspiring production personnel while training, problem solving and creating new accounts. The Sales Manager has the responsibility of successfully building and maximizing the efforts and strengths of the sales team. The sales Manager will develop sales strategy and goals. Will lead and develop the sales team to successfully execute strategy and deliver high value client contracts. Interface with other senior management members to both ensure the companies overall strategy and the Sales business objectives are in alignment. This position reports to the President/CEO.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
Meet aggressive sales target as established by the company
Develop sales strategies and plans to fulfill the overall marketing strategies
Motivate and develop skills of direct reports, foster a team approach to sales goals, projects, programs and problem solving.
Directly manage 7 Field Sales Reps with the potential to add 2-4 more over the next 12 months.
Coordinate sales efforts with the Branch Managers
Provide on-going feedback to the President/CEO on pipeline of new business and the ongoing process.
Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization to deliver results.
Maintain a customer service oriented approach to providing consultative service to Major clients.
Maintain and control department budget on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring no cost overrun.
Establish and administer sales compensation program (ie. Commissions, bonus and other incentives).
Establish sales target for staff.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with several years of senior level sales management experience.
Proven track record of effectively developing sales strategy and delivering results through others.
Strong financial acumen, with experience developing metrics and compensation programs.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective in leading others and development and training of staff.
Outstanding presentation skills. -Broad knowledge of sales management principals and techniques.
