SCHULTE Strong Home Storage (www.schultestorage.com), a rapidly expanding home organization products company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, has an opening for a Sales Manager for our Builder Division. Reporting to the Director of Sales - Builder Division, this position will be located in the Western United States.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Delivering the territory business plan within the assigned territory.
- Managing daily sales results to identify and react to all potential sales shortfalls by representative, customer, and product line.
- Managing all Manufacturers Representatives within the assigned territory to achieve:
* Monthly total, base, and new business sales quota within the territory business plan.
* New dealer acquisition goals within the territory business plan.
* New builder acquisition goals within the territory business plan.
* New product sales and distribution goals as established by Marketing.
- Conducting monthly rep reviews to include:
* Coaching/counseling on the achievement of the monthly territory business plan.
* Current customer visits.
* Potential new customer visits.
* Sales Cycle training.
* Quarterly rep performance reviews/ratings.
- Submitting new customer proposals to the Director of Sales for approval.
- Submitting weekly report to the Director of Sales.
- Participating in biweekly sales meeting to present sales results against plan and develop action plans when needed with the Director of Sales.
- Attending quarterly Senior Leadership Team meeting to present quarterly sales results and present action plans when needed.
- Working collaboratively with the Sales Administration Manager to manage promotional spending within assigned territory.
- Working collaboratively with the Customer Service and Support Manager to resolve all customer service issues within assigned territory.Qualified candidates must possess a bachelors degree in business or a related discipline; must be able to travel extensively (at least 75% travel is anticipated); have 3+ years Consultative, Fact Based Solution, and Relationship Selling experience; have 3+ years Sales Management experience, preferably managing manufacturers representatives; display expert proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook; have expert level CRM skills; have effective strategic thinking and tactical execution skills; strong organizational skills; have the ability to manage problems into solutions; have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.SCHULTE Strong Home Storage offers a competitive base salary; quarterly and annual sales bonus based on territory performance; company vehicle; laptop; profit sharing; matching 401k; and health benefits to include medical and life insurance.If you are interested in joining a rapidly growing company that is both fiscally and culturally sound, please send your confidential cover letter, resume, and salary history to
