Sales Management -- California Area Job Developer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of professional fitness, therapy and strength training equipment, sold to Hospitals, Alternative Healthcare and Therapy organizations is seeking a Western Region Manager to Build, Coach and Motivate a team of Business Development / Account Managers in California.

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE
Provide coverage and penetration to maximize sales and profit in the assigned territory. Manage all sales activity and personnel in given territory. Provide internal feedback and support for product and marketing purposes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Daily/Weekly interface with the National Sales Manager (written-verbal-conference calls)
-Provide detailed Forecast and Territory Management Reports.
-Develop Market Segment Penetration Plans.
-Develop existing client base and provide necessary client support as required to ensure successful business alliance.
-Achieve/Exceed Monthly-Quarterly-Yearly Sales Targets
-Manage margins in all opportunities and transactions maximizing profitability.
-Control all related Accounts / Receivables aspects within territory
-Ensure success of all Regional Sales Managers’s on team via proper training, coaching and mentoring.
-Facilitate representation of complete product portfolio in given territory via all channels.
-Grant 100% adherence of CRM tool and follow Company Sales Methodology
-Support in a team environment the other Company Divisions ( Medical – Corporate Accounts – Technology)
-Recruit and train qualified Regional Sales Managers based on Company recruitment plan/protocols/practices.
-Represent Company with professionalism at all times

COMPLEXITY
Works under minimal supervision. Ability to self-motivate and problem solve are imperative. Dealing with customers requires extreme attention to customer satisfaction and the Company profit objectives. Errors in judgment could result in significant loss of customer satisfaction and potentially have negative impact on future corporate success.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Field work intensive. Daily and weekly travel to local accounts and prospect sites. Travel to industry tradeshows as specified. Ability to professionally represent employer in a fitness/wellness setting required.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED

B.S. degree in Physiology (or related) and/or Business orientation are preferred.

Previous sales management experience with capital equipment in complex sales environment.

Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of SPIN–Mahan–Covey techniques.

Good level of technology knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft tools are essential.
