This position could potentially be managing Sales Force Optimization.Recommending areas of opportunity that will help Sales Management to direct resources in order to optimize sales efforts.Plan and prioritize project plans that cross several departments.Present results of analysis to senior management.Develop, automate and produce monthly and ad hoc analytical analysis by evaluating, validating and reporting on multiple data sources.Share analysis expertise in meetings with Commercial Analytics, Siebel data quality team and Sales Services departments.Lead daily operations associated with sales databases including file maintenance, file creation and data validation.Develop new databases on request for special projects including but not limited to geographic market analysis.Present analytical findings to team members and senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Two to three or more years related business experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree with
coursework in engineering, statistics, computer science and/or math suggested. Masters preferred.Significant experience and demonstrated aptitude with SAS, SQL and/or VBA preferred.Aptitude for working with large quantities of data. Excellent database and data
analytical skills required.Pharmaceutical experience a plus.Demonstrated ability to identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives, and
implement effective solutions. Ability to be exacting, thorough and attentive to detail,
while still meeting deadlines.Ability to work under pressure effectively and manage multiple priorities and
coordinate efforts with colleagues from multiple functional areas.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, facts and technical information to
Sales Management as well as to other internal customers both verbally and written.Excellent presentation and analytical skills required.Highly self motivated and driven candidate who works well on their own and within
teams required.
