Sales Engineer - Wealth Manager product

Our Dow Jones Licensing Services department, located in midtown Manhattan, seeks a Sales Engineer to support our DJ Newswires Wealth Manager product.•Partner with Sales team to achieve desired sales goals.
•Serve as the primary client-facing product and technology expert for Dow Jones Wealth Manager throughout the sales cycle and to support post-sale product usage.
•Partner with customers to identify solutions built upon the Wealth Manager platform that help them meet their corporate and end user goals; Develop strategies and solutions for integrating the Wealth Manager product offering into system and workflow processes.
•Grow relationships with key technology and business decision makers and sponsors to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
•Communicate clearly about Wealth Manager Product features, benefits and in-depth technology capabilities; keep customers apprised of new product enhancements.
•Track ongoing discussions and client interactions
•Propose technical solutions and business solutions to prospective clients.
•Present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to prospective clients.
•Work with a cross-matrix customer team including sales, product management, and technology to share feedback on market requirements and customer needs, competition, and technical trends.•Develop expertise in marketplace wealth management platforms and systems, including Managed Account platforms and CRM systems.
•Maintain expertise with array of Dow Jones product s to identify cross-selling opportunities and coordinate client interactions.•Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of staff so as to meet the demands of the department.
REQUIREMENTS
•The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a technology field in a role as a client facing business analyst, technical account manager or similar position•In-depth knowledge of Web Services product offerings is required
•Familiarity with investment banking, financial services, and publishing strongly preferred.
•Experience preparing proposals and technical requirements documentation
•Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a level appropriate to the audience.•Ability to align solutions, deliver applications at the enterprise level, and assimilate complex product knowledge to support client business needs.•Utilities technology-based tools and processes
