Sales Development Manager - Mid West
Seeking a road warrior sales person to cover 12 states in the mid-West. States include Texas, New Mexico, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, Arkansas, Louisiana. Must be available to travel 4 out of 5 days per week. Must think on your feet selling paper to distributors. Must have excellent computer skills, organizational skills and sales skills. Must be able to set goals and achieve them. Generous bonuses given.
REQUIREMENTS
. Develops NEW business by bringing on new accounts as well as by developing current key accounts.
. Focuses plans and activities on key distribution channels for commercial business.
. Targets to make 6 outside account calls a day.
. Implements annual and quarterly sales plans with top key customer accounts.
. Maximizes optimum time and territory management.
. Maintains close contact with ALL personnel at ALL key customers - Purchasing, Branch Management, Sales Management, Sales Representatives, Customer Service, etc.
. Complete ACT notes daily and submit weekly reports.
. Complete Calendars in Monthly cycles.
. Complete profiles and pricing for each account.
. Works within an assigned geographic territory.
. Actively and selectively presents our company, promotions and programs to key customers within the defined territory on a regular basis.
. Develops and plans actions to call on end user accounts - independently and with key customer sales personnel.
. Educates and trains customers' sales forces, and customer services department through sales meetings, seminars and promotions.
. Needs to effectively communicate to teammates and customers via email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities. Also needs to have working knowledge of COGNOS system for purposes of tracking sales numbers.
