Sales Consultant - General Business Solutions
job description Major Responsibilities: Fully qualified company representative / consultant for data solutions and other cross-disciplines. Viewed as a SME by both company and customers. Often presents to C-levels, business functional leaders, decision makers/influencers and customer's technical experts. Business leader, coach and role model. Subject matter expert for industry, technical, application or vertical experience. Ability to handle multiple engagements.Knowledge and skills required: Maintains a complete knowledge of the organization's entire products, policies, and services. Assessed to be proficient within product and/or solution service lines. Subject matter expert level knowledge. Viewed within Sprint and within the marketplace as a SME. Applies critical thinking and ingenuity in bringing successful resolution to each business situation. Able to conduct knowledge transfer of complex material. Establishes and maintains relationships at all levels. Works with the Regional VPs, Area Directors and leaders of product, product marketing and application providers/partners. Contacts generally involve the presentation of information and recommendations. Serves as an advocate for client. Acts as liaison on specific projects with other work areas. Influences, inspires, or persuades others in order to accomplish work objectives. Develops and leads the implementation of tactical plans in support of strategic initiatives. Receives objectives and determines approach to achieving objectives. May serve as project or initiative leader. Requires little to no direct management. Consults internally and/or externally using technical expertise. Influences executive level management. Receives minimal supervision.
job requirements Preferred qualifications: BS, or equivalent and 3-8 years directly related solutions/technical sales experience and proven expertise in data solutions. Assessed to be in top half percentile of proficiency as measured by company standards.Minimum Qualifications: (Job related skills, experience, and education): BS, or equivalent and 1 -3 years directly related solutions/technical sales experience and proven expertise in data solutions. This position requires sales experience and some knowledge of data telecommunications.
