SALES SUPERVISOR
SUMMARY: The Sales Supervisor prospects and generates sales revenue by new program residential customers, as well as cross-selling and up-selling current residential customers. The main focus for this position is creating, and retaining customers!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned.
•Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the activities of the Residential Sales Reps to provide timely sales efforts to acquire new customers and retain existing customers.
•Ensures sales calls are performed to meet sales goals.
•Ensures inquiry leads are completed timely, accurately and professionally.
•Trains sale personnel to perform at company standards.
•Must be able to manage a team of reps to ensure individual productivity and sales goals are being met at the same time make sales calls themselves.Job RequirementsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises one or more full-time employees in the telemarketing/sales department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
