SALES ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

SALES ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT The world’s largest company in the manufacture, maintenance and service of elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other horizontal transportation systems, has sales opportunities available in major cities throughout the United States. We are seeking an aggressive, motivated experienced sales people to assist the New York Branches in managing and growing our service business. The selected individual must show demonstrated results in a previous sales role; possess solid communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and other company employees; be an aggressive, goal-oriented individual who has demonstrated his/her ability to work independently and efficiently. Experience selling to building managers, owners and project developers is a plus. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to work with a large demanding customer base on a day-to-day basis. Candidates should also have an entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy; have demonstrated good business decision-making skills in previous positions; be a team player and have the ability to sell on factors other than price. Our sales associates are responsible for: • servicing existing accounts to ensure retention of business • selling company products and/or service upgrades • developing new customers and expanding the sales territory • familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics • providing support to current and prospective customers • monitoring and managing the collections of accounts
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates have engineering, business or marketing degrees and strong organizational, analytical, communication and people skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft software applications and mainframe computer familiarity are a plus. Successful candidates can interact effectively with customers, team members and company management and have the initiative and motivation to be successful in a demanding environment while demonstrating entrepreneurial qualities.
