Retail Sales Assistant

West Coast Beauty Systems is part of the Beauty Systems Group, the largest full-service distributor of wholesale beauty products in the world. Our corporate office is located in Benicia, California. We do business in 13 Midwest and Western states with over 200 Salon Consultants. We also have over 100 professional-only stores to serve our customers throughout the U.S.

West Coast Beauty Systems is seeking FT Retail Sales Assistants for our Mesa and East Mesa, AZ stores.

Primary functions & efforts required:

Service customers;
Explain the benefits and use of products;
Keep a tidy store, well stocked with products;
Display products and merchandizing kits in an orderly and attractive fashion;
Answer phones and take down customers’ orders;
In the absence of the Store Manager, open & close the store, price orders, and make bank deposits. REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:

Hands-on hair care/color product knowledge helpful
Cash handling experience
Retail experience helpful

Other Skills and Abilities Required:

Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Team Player
Follow-through on tasks/inquiries
Strong communication & people skills
