Research & Development Manager

Our Client is seeking a Research and Development Manager. The person who fills this position may reside in or around any one of the cities in which a facility is located. The locations are:

Tucson, Arizona; Spokane, Washington; Hillsboro, Texas; or Grand Island, Nebraska

The qualified candidate will provide technical leadership and process oversight for all aspects of concrete operations at all Tie and Building facilities. Additionally, the person who fills this position will lead investigations and resolutions of concrete related performance issues in the field.

Responsibilities include:
* Develop, implement, and control cost effective mix designs at all plant locations
* Develop and Lead an R&D program for all concrete products
* Provide technical training related to concrete for CXT personnel
* Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning quality issues related to concrete and materials
* Represent CXT on concrete related subcommittees
REQUIREMENTS
•Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering
* A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Concrete, Structures, or related field
* Expertise in concrete production, placement, finishing, testing, mix designs, raw materials, and control systems
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Leadership and communication skills necessary to manage multiple site processes
* Precast/prestress concrete certifications (PCI/ACI) desired
* PE certification or ability to acquire
