Regional Sales/Relationship Manager

Responsible to promote the company's technical capabilities, sell company's overall engineering and MFG solutions at best possible profit margins, help position company as the Leading and Premier Automation Integration and Manufacturing company, help achieve positive recognition and growth within our industry, develop new opportunities in assigned region or selected market sectors, and meet quarterly and annual Bookings targets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Market and sell company’s products/services to assigned territory and accounts.
2. Develop market requirement plans (MRPs).3. Collect and construct Market/Account Intelligence Data.4. Develop order/bookings forecasts as requested.5. Create sales strategy (-ies) to obtain objectives for assigned product line(s) and selected territory.
6. Collect customer requirements and generate product feature definition/recommendation.
7. Develop sales of products by researching and resolving customer problems.
8. Maintain a sales program within the territory based on customers’ requirements and checks on competitive activities.9. Keep records and make reports on all phases of accounts and customers’ activities.
10. Accurately reports on customers’, markets’ or territories’ requirements and needs to factory and as well provides on-time and appropriate response and resolutions by factory to related accounts.11. Manages Sales activities of accounts within assigned territory or market segment.12. Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
13. Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.PERIPHERAL DUTIES
1. Regular and scheduled visits with customers and installed bases.
2. Assists in formulating departmental strategic plan.
3. Serves as a member of various employee and organizational committees.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary Environment: Normal office environment. Secondary Environment: Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials.COVERAGE AREA
Oregon, California, Washington and other western areas as needed
Mostly car travel and air travel as neededSALARY
Total package will be in the $100k+ range

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor of Science in a technical field.
2. Six years of related sales/applications experience
3. Demonstrated knowledge of complex selling process to pharmaceutical, medical device markets and semiconductor, electronics, and general industries. Preference is the FDA regulated industries.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of selling Capital Equipment or Process Tool with ASP of $0.5M and beyond and for contracts with values from $0.5M to $10M (USD)
5. Demonstrated effective negotiation skills, representing company's long-term business requirements on multi-year contract
6. Demonstrated technical proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
8. Valid State Driver's License required.
