Regional Sales Manager - Northeast Region, USA

We are a highly profitable private company selling a nitch business service to Fortune 1000's and mid-sized companies in the U.S. and Canada. Primary target is Human Resource Executives.
A current sample of clients include IBM, UPS, State Farm, DuPont, Bank of America, McDonalds, Morgan Stanley, and many others.
We are the second largest company in our industry, with annual revenues exceeding $110 Million. The average earnings of sales reps exceed $200k per year.
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager with a demonstrated history of high achievement to:Manage and Develop Sales Reps
* Recruit, coach, train, develop, motivate, and empower the sales team
* Evaluate effectiveness of Sales Reps and recommend necessary changes
*Provide monthly and quarterly result assessments of Sales Rep's productivity
*Constantly improve sales performance and area penetration
* Assist sales reps with any questions.Train and Support Sales Rep Efforts to:
* Aggressively establish, qualify, and maintain contact with prospective clients
* Prospect for potential clients by generating prospects
* Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities
* Maintain direct relationships with key strategic accounts
* Successfully manage, grow, and retain existing accounts through contract extensionsMeeting Corporate Objectives by:
*Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue
*Developing plans to ensure revenue growth
*Exceeding established sales goals
*Coordinate with other departments to ensure sales support
*Contribute new ideas and process to drive change
* Provide written account plans
* Manage and execute sales strategies
REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking an aggressive self-starter with 5-6 years Sales Management experience in a direct sale, business-to-business, "C" level environment, with experience selling to H/R Executives.
The Sales Manager will be based from his/her home office within the NY City, N.Jersey metro area, and will supervise 8-10 Outside Sales Reps in the Maine to Philadelphia, PA. territory who sell to companies with 500 or more employees, including Fortune 1000 companies.
This position is responsible for creating new business through the the support of assigned Outside Sales Reps.Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, strong interpersonal and coaching skills, excellent Sales Management skills, and the desire to help grow our business.
