Regional Sales Development Manager - Mid Atlantic
The Regional Sales Development Manager (RSDM) will leverage Color, Production Print and authorized Solutions products to help KMBS branches sell more engines and increase after-market revenue, provide focus, direction, training and support for all Sales personnel, Application Specialists and CSR's. Work with Regional VP and Branch General Managers (BGM's) to drive overall revenue targets for Color, Production Print and approved Konica Minolta solution products.
Develop sales marketing programs that drive activity that result in increased sales, including sales education, direct marketing, Powerhouses and other customer events.
Help Regional VP and BGM identify "Best Practices" within field sales and support groups and facilitate knowledge sharing and updated procedures.
Provide high-level sales support focusing on Color, Production Print and approved Konica Minolta Solution products.
Manage opportunities where multiple parties are involved.
Conduct periodic "Best Practice Meetings" that focus on sharing the successful activities of other branch sales personnel that result in increased sales.
Dotted-line responsibility for the Application Specialists and CSR's. The RSDM works closely with the BGM in developing pre- and post-sales support processes, ongoing development and education of sales support personnel and escalation procedures that will maximize revenue and profit for the local branch & region.
Assist with product launches for KMBS direct sales channel.
Monitor demo rooms to corporate standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
5+ years technical Sales experience in related field (Color / Monochrome MFP engines, Production Print and Solution Products) with a history of meeting & exceeding quota; 3-5 years managerial experience preferred.
4-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination education and experience. Related business & technology certifications a plus.
PC/MAC literate with strong working knowledge of the following applications; Quark, MS Office, Publisher, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Lotus Notes, & Internet Explorer.
Strong working knowledge of print controllers & applications (Colorwise, Command Workstation, Calibration, Color Correction & drivers); pre-press and production print workflows; competitive production print engines, color & monochrome (such as Docutechs, Docucolor 6060, Canon CLC's, Ricoh 100+ ppm); other color devices; variable data packages (Prism, PrintShop Mail, Planet Press); document manage & scanning application & workflows.
