MetroPool, Inc., the area’s leading commuter transportation consultation/support Company is seeking an Employer Programs and Commuter Services Regional Manager for its New York based operations.

As a member of the MetroPool NY team you will report to the Senior Manager of NY Programs and be responsible for promoting, coordinating, implementing and maintaining Commute Option Programs at single and multi-employer sites located within MetroPool’s service area.

This position requires the Regional Manager to work effectively with both the public and private sector to gain regional support for the implementation of MetroPool’s New York State Department of Transportation funded products and services.

The Regional Manager will be focused on the needs and wants of the client especially in terms of introducing and implementing “state of the art” carpooling, vanpooling and commuter tax incentive programs to companies and commuters in the Mid Hudson Valley region. Additionally, a key element of this position is the ongoing promotion, support and development of ridership on rail, bus and ferry transit in the region. This position will entail and require client contact and development, measuring and reporting on program progress, excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Regional Manager must be able to present MetroPool programs to large and small audiences as well as to all levels of corporate management for existing and prospective clients. This position requires proficiency with various Microsoft programs and database management, the ability to handle multiple priorities and to work effectively in a team environment. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: College degree with prior sales/management experience and the ability to travel to and work in other MetroPool New York office locations in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Dutchess County. The ability to work and succeed in a team-oriented environment is an essential element that is required for the individual who will be hired for this position.
