Regional Director

At the American Heart Association, our mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. In order to support this mission, we are currently seeking 2 qualified Regional Directors for our Baton Rouge, LA office.
The American Heart Association (AHA) is a not-for-profit, health organization funded by private contributions. Job responsibilities include developing aggressive fundraising campaigns; community education; recruiting, training and mobilizing volunteers; and recruiting corporate and media sponsors for fundraising events. There is extensive local travel, and weekend work may be required.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in business, sales, or marketing; 2-5 years of pertinent work experience with a successful track record in fundraising, sales, or marketing; experience in a not-for-profit environment and/or working with volunteers is a plus.
