Regional Business Development Manager

The objective of the Law Enforcement Regional Business Development Manager is to develop, coordinate and implement all aspects relating to the sales function within a designated law enforcement community/territory.

Responsibilities include:
The coordinating and directing of a law enforcement independent manufacturer’s sales representative group where positioned.
Further, develop, implement and expand law enforcement sales and related programs
Professionally represent Beretta USA Corp. in the law enforcement community
Professionally represent dealers/distributors in the Beretta Law Enforcement Stocking Partners program.
REQUIREMENTS
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires frequent overnight vehicle travel.
Possess the ability to properly/professionally use firearms in a public/private forum.
Physical and mental ability to work for long periods of time in adverse weather environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
Develop and maintain communication with law enforcement agencies.
Represent Beretta USA Corp. at various trade shows and exhibits as directed.
Provide feedback via specific reports submitted to the Trade Show Coordinator and Director of Law Enforcement Business Development.
Convey information about Beretta USA Corp. law enforcement products to LE agencies.
Represent the law enforcement department at all company invited special projects and meetings.
Develop short/long term sales objectives within the specific market area.
Generate weekly/monthly sales reports as requested.
Implement special projects as assigned by the Director of Law Business Development, which may include representing Beretta USA Corp. at major product exhibits and national conferences within the United States.
General home office management, accepted budget planning and monitoring procedures.
Knowledge of computer programs; Microsoft Office Suite, Excel.
Ability to communicate proficiently orally and written and to demonstrate strong interpersonal qualities, essential.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to pass stringent background investigation.
Ability to use firearms proficiently.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred; experience in Law Enforcement preferred.
Education/experience in the law enforcement sales field preferred.
