As a National Company we provide Professional Services within the Wireless and Wireline industries. Our project-based services include but are not limited to: Project Management, Staff Augmentation, EF&I, Site Acquisition & Build and Post Commissioning.
Position Summary:
Goodman Networks has an exceptional career opportunity for aggressive sales professionals who are connected in the Telecom Carrier Industry to assist in growing our presence within new and existing customers. We are offering telecommunications sales professionals profitable careers based in one of our Strategic Markets in the Southeast Region. The Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of territory management, including:
Sell total Services Solutions including traditional EF&I services, Maintenance Support, overall Project/Program Management, and Outside Plant Services to medium and large Telecom Carriers, both Wireless and Wireline, within assigned territory
Develop and implement customer sales plan and sales forecasts
Identify and evaluate new accounts and revenue generation opportunities
Develop ongoing revenue stream from current base of customers
Coordinate the bid process, proposal generation, and customer pricing
Build customer relationships, make presentations and provide service support
Area covered to include Florida, and potentially the surrounding states, based on capabilities and established relationships
30-40% travel expected within area
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Qualified individuals will possess the following:
3 to 5+ years experience selling Equipment and/or Professional Services into Telecom Carriers (RBOC, CLEC, IXC, etc.), or OEM telecommunication companies with established relationships
Strong Powerpoint, Excel and web-based reporting knowledge
Strong technical knowledge of telecommunication network architecture
Experience with Central Office, MTSO and Cell Site Operations and Maintenance preferred (FTTx experience is a plus)
Well-developed strategic and tactical selling skills
Proven ability to work independently (remote) as well as work within a team environment
Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with ability to develop relationships at many levels within an organization
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Goodman Networks offers a competitive salary and commission plan designed to attract the most qualified individuals. As a successful Business Development person, you will manage a regional territory and report to the Regional VP of Business Development.
