We are looking for a new Public Sector Marketing Manager to join our team!

Objectives:Develop marketing strategy and tactics to support the CareerBuilder.com Public Sector (state and local government as well as K-12 educational markets)sales force enabling better acquisition, retention and cross-sell/up-sell
Become the expert on the CareerBuilder.com marketplace and be prepared to present marketing strategies and tactics to the sales force
Embed yourself into the sales groups to effectively create marketing strategy for acquisition, retention and cross-sell/up-sell of accounts
Manage marketing budget and measure the success of promotions based on ROIDuties:
Advertising and PromotionsDevelop advertising plans increasing CareerBuilder.com awareness in the market
Develop strategies and messages for e-mail and postal direct marketing and promotions
Uncover any additional promotional opportunitiesCompetitive IntelligenceDevelop and maintain a comprehensive list of competitors
Package competitive information for use by Sales and Marketing staff
Develop, participate in and report on market and survey researchData ResponsibilitiesDevelop a standard set of reporting through which to manage your business
Gather customer and prospect data to accurately segment the market
Work closely with IT project managers to request appropriate data pullsEvent StrategyPlan regional CareerBuilder.com customer events; responsibilities include everything from initial event strategy through all administrative details
Develop a comprehensive tradeshow strategy and plan; responsibilities include initial show strategy through all administrative details and show staffing
Communicate event strategy and tactics to sales teamsSales SupportDevelop sales force presentations and scripts for use on cold calls and appointments

REQUIREMENTS
Previous public sector marketing experience
College or university degree
Proven critical and analytical thinking skills
Requires excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
Energetic, highly proactive individual with an awesome creative side
Creative thinker and idea-generator; not afraid to take chances
Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with ease and comfort
Requires discretion and good judgment working with confidential/sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to self motivate and work independently as well as on a team
