Professional Sales Representative - Salisbury, MD
Professional Sales RepresentativeAs a world-class manufacturer of paint and related products, ICI Paints has openings in their Stores Division for Professional Sales Representatives throughout the U.S.Responsibilities:Aggressively identify, evaluate, develop and close new business opportunities, develop long-term client relationships, develop and sell sales proposals, and conduct other related sales activities
Utilize solution-selling skills to create new visions for prospects that result in additional opportunities within ICI Paints' current customers and new customers
Drive new business from prospecting through closing and implementation.
Expand existing business through client relationship management
Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans in support of business opportunities
Work closely with operations and management to ensure the best possible service to the client
Provide exceptional customer service to professional contractors
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:The ability to speak Spanish is a major plus.
Property Management and previous paint experience is preferred.
Proven self-starters with a competitive drive for results to seek out new opportunities by understanding customer needs and selling solutions that provide value to our customers
Ability to understand and identify competitor’s and customer’s strengths and weaknesses
Ability to effectively articulate ICI Paint’s competitive advantage and value proposition to the customer
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
Excellent cold-calling and account penetration skills
Exceptional dedication to customer service
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience in public speaking
Top-notch interpersonal and relationship development skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels
Strong PC skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2+ years value selling experience
Self-motivated, goal-directed, innovative, results-oriented individual with a desire to work in a pay-for-performance driven culture.
Travel in local area -company car provided
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required.
