Product Manager - Safety Products

Due to our continued growth and success we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Cumming, GA location. This position will focus on safety products.

Responsibilities:
·Develop and lead the implementation of Global Product Launch Plan.
·Work with Product Development, Product Line Managers and Corporate Marketing, Engineering and Sales to identify and pursue new products, applications and market opportunities.
·Assist in the development of pricing and promotional strategy including media and target markets.
·Conduct competitor research: technical advantages/disadvantages.
·Produce sales forecasts for existing products and monitor product line sales.
·Analyze slow moving products and recommend items for elimination. Manage product obsolescence.
·Provide sales, marketing and training support for new and key customers.
·Attend trade shows, conferences and visit customers through joint sales calls.
REQUIREMENTS
·BS in engineering, required. MBA a plus.
·3-5 years of engineering and/or sales/marketing experience.
·Strong planning, forecasting, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
·Ability to lead or direct projects across other departments, divisions or organizations.
·Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
