As Product Manager/Sr Product Manager you will be responsible for: developing and implementing brand strategies and tactics; leading the generation and development of key promotional material; working as a member of the cross functional extended brand team including fostering key relationships within Global Medical Affairs, legal, regulatory Copy Clearance Committee, Field Sales, TO&PS, and others; collaborating with sales management to ensure that brand strategies and deliverables meet the needs of the market and the sales force; representing the US in planning and implementing promotional initiatives and educational efforts; and leading the management of third party suppliers (i.e. agency of record). Key deliverables for the Senior Product Manager include: POA planning, Consumer Campaign development, evaluation of new campaign material; annual cycle of Business Planning and Budgeting with high level of responsibility for tactics development and implementation. Overall brand management responsibility to include: budget management, market research planning, sale management liaison, management of public relations agency and liaison to Wyeth PR teams.
Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5-7 years Pharma sales and marketing experience, an MBA is strongly preferred. Additional higher education is welcome, but not required. A minimum of 2-3 years marketing experience within pharmaceutical/OTC is required for the Senior Product Manager and should include both professional and consumer segments. DTC, DTP campaign experience is a plus. Demonstrable success in leading teams (internal/external collaboration) and implementing key initiatives is a requirement. Successful candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills. Candidate should also be knowledgeable in financial management systems and ad agency operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
