Interfaces with the division Marketing team and Advanced Circuit Materials sales team to develop and execute product management objectives consistent with the strategic marketing plan and Rogers Corporate objectives. Provides on-site product marketing leadership for the division.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Customer and Product Support: Ensures that products are easily obtainable for customer use; the right product, at the right place, at the right time. Responsible for inventory levels, participates in establishing logistics for new accounts or changes. Holds periodic discussion with key customers both on site and on teleconferences. Answer customer questions that others cannot.
2. Product Development and Maintenance: Participates on CPD teams and/or leads teams with emphasis on launch activities. Maintains product definitions and approves changes to product offerings consistent with division procedures.3. Supports and guides Advanced Circuit Materials sales staff: Develops and implements sales tools (sales manual, application stories, data sheets, product sampling, etc.). Provides sales training. Prepares target account lists, and makes joint customer visits with sales engineers as warranted. Utilizes sales staff and distribution channels to gather market intelligence. Provides product demand forecast as required.4. Pricing: Responsible for implementing pricing strategy, including building price schedules, requests for quote and price exceptions, consistent with divisional financial goals and marketing team guidelines.5. Marketing Communications: Assist with divisional marketing communications efforts as needed. Assist with trade show plan; produce divisional collateral (advertising, application stories, booth design and management). Supports advertising and media plan. Plans and conducts customer focused seminars and facilitates technical paper presentations and write papers as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
BS Engineering/Science or BS Business/Marketing. Graduate level course work in Marketing. Five years of industrial product marketing (or combination of product marketing and technical sales experience). One year of experience in project leadership. Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead people. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA/Marketing concentration plus experience in materials based industry. Supervisory experience.
