Full Job Title: Practice Coordinator, Business Development, Financial Services OfficeJob Description:
The Practice Coordinator is responsible for coordinating practice activities and communications for multi-disciplinary teams by providing logistics and facilities support for advisory/practice meetings. Works with the Senior Practice Coordinator to understand the needs of the teams supported and collects/disseminates relevant practice information. Also tracks action item progress. Responsibilities Coordinate and participate in account team meetings; may act as the central point of contact for practice thought leadership and for meeting logistics and facilities. Provide relevant practice information to team(s) regarding the target/client, its industry and its competitors by collecting information from established sources. Coordinate with Communications and Pursuit Strategy (CaPS) and Marketing to ensure that all the appropriate databases are updated. Knowledgeable in practice services and our business development process to be able to support the advisory/practice team. Support pursuits by coordinating the use and dissemination of collaterals, research, business analysis and competitive intelligence. May maintain balanced scorecard monthly reporting and update the firm’s Sales Tracking and Reporting System (STARS). Develop industry and specialty knowledge by attending business association/industry/Area team meetings, studying relevant publications and participating in learning opportunities. Facilitate communication among account team members and integrate information provided by the team into a useable format. Demonstrate basic to intermediate understanding and application of principles and practices of account management and a solid knowledge of the practice area. Duties are generally varied in scope and basic to moderately complex. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience approximately 3-5 years of relevant practice experience; previous business development, marketing or project management experience is desirable strong organizational skills and attention to detail excellent verbal, written, and oral presentation skills ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously ability to quickly gain the knowledge of the services and methodologies of the practice As the job involves preparing materials for clients, long hours are required.
