Partner Operations Manager
Overview of Position The world’s leading collegiate honor society is seeking an experienced relationship manager with a Human Resources and or professional services sales background, strategic perspective and demonstrated experience in creating and developing profitable on-going business relationships. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the Partner Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining the relationships with the Society’s partners and supporting the Manager of Business Development in development of specific partner value propositions, contracts and account plans. General and Leadership ResponsibilitiesAdhere to the mission, values and strategy of the organization.Collaborate with the Partner Development Team to establish and accomplish partner development programs and goalsProvide timely and consistent reporting on all areas of responsibilityProvide timely contributions to business planning, program development and budgeting processSpecific Areas of responsibility Partner Relations/OperationsManagement of customer relationship once partner agreement is signedSupport Business Development Manager in development of specific partner value propositions, contracts and account plansCompliance oversight of all elements in partner action plansCoordinate contractual renewal and partner planning process for existing partnersProvide staff (PD, marketing and other) with relevant partner information and statistics for member communicationsKeep partners informed about the Society and Society programsUp-sell and cross-sell programs to partners as appropriateConduct bi-annual Partner Satisfaction and Feedback surveysProvide relevant ROI reports to Partners (i.e. Silverpop email reports, member feedback via Websurveyor surveys, etc.)Provide routine reports on Partnership Performance to partners and relevant staffTrack, monitor and report on partner satisfaction, partner accounting (invoicing, receivables, etc.)Track affinity program marketing, timing, revenue and feedbackSupport International Partner Operations efforts to include sharing of best practices, partner relationship contacts, event coordination, etc.Job BoardAdministrator of Society’s job boardPrimary responsibility for driving “pay-by-the-drink” of jobs and internships through the job boardDevelop and implement external marketing plan for the job boardEventsCoordinate logistics for partner participation in Society events; exhibiting, workshops, appropriate marketing placement, etc.Lead partner/sponsorship fund raising effortsMarket event opportunities to recruiting and affinity partners (sponsor, exhibitors, content opportunities)Communicate event logistic requirements to appropriate partner contacts and internal staff in charge of eventsCoordinate /communicate logistical detail among staff and partner contactsTrack sponsor and exhibitor revenue against budget goalsSupport Partner/Pipeline Development
Serve as team lead in collaboration with Partner Development Team on lead development programs including pre-event marketing, target market communications and other promotional programs to generate qualified leads for partner developmentServe as team lead on sales show operations including event logistics, pre-event marketing, post-event follow-up and annual planning for sales showsOther responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred5 years prior work experience in relationship/partner managementStrong analytical skills, detail orientation, and follow throughPositive, outgoing personalityExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization and multiple departments of the institution are essentialInitiative, sense of ownership, assertive, open-minded, flexible and adept at conflict resolution are key attributes that are desiredMust be conscientious and committed with a high level of integrityExcellent relationship, sales and account management skills are a mustHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with CRM softwareAbility to travel 25% of the timeCompensation & Benefits Salary is low to mid $40’s (depending on experience), bonus based on performance.
