Outside sales representative/account manager

The territory includes all of North Alabama including Birmingham, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. This is a high energy/high profile position with great rewards for the right professional salesperson.

The key responsibilities of this position are outside sales of propane gas to non-residential and residential/builder accounts from initial contact through to completion, which may include appliance sales, a site inspection and associated paperwork. Warehouses, construction sites, restaurants/hotels are all prospecting areas. Account retention of assigned accounts within sales territory is essential. Prospecting (cold calling) to establish a prospect list is a key activity.

REQUIREMENTS
1. 4-year college degree preferred, not required.
2. Ability to communicate well with all levels of management.
3. Outside sales experience and territory knowledge in an industrial environment are a plus.
