Outside Sales Representative - Richmond

We are a Fortune 1000 leader in our industry and are currently seeking a proven outside Sales Representative to help us continue to grow our business in Richmond.

Job responsibilities include:
Prospecting and qualifying leads via telemarketing, referrals, etc… to obtain maximum sales and potential volume from all markets in assigned territory
Setting up appointments and making sales presentations
Participating in local marketing activities, including trade shows and direct marketing programs
Preparing special or standard proposals including, pricing quotations, terms of sales and transfer dates as requested by potential customers
Planning, developing and executing sales strategy and tailoring to potential client
Keeping informed on competitive services, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Utilizing resources and performing research to determine sales patterns and strategies.
Understanding and maintaining current knowledge on the company's products, services, features, benefits and applications.

REQUIREMENTS
4+ years experience selling in complex decision making environments, with demonstrated success in consultative selling in a business-to-business service industry. Candidates who apply should be at or above quota at current and previous sales positions. Formal sales training, including Strategic Selling and/or SPIN Selling is a plus.
