Outside Sales Representative
Our client is the world's largest maker of chemicals used in water treatment and for industrial processes. The company's chemicals help clarify water, conserve energy, prevent pollution, separate liquids from solids, and prevent corrosion in cooling systems and boilers.
Their customers include municipalities, hospitals, and makers of electronics, chemicals, paper, petroleum, The company also provides water management services and, through its Industrial Solutions unit, maintenance of water treatment operations.Due to company growth they are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover their Phoenix territory.Job Responsibilities:•Going on sales calls set up by Inside Sales
•Achieves annual sales targets by working with the Hub Manager to establish selling strategy and tactics.•Obtains orders and establishes new accounts; plans and organizes daily work; calls on existing and potential sales customers.•Analyzes customer needs, requirements, and strategic plans recommending solutions with Company programs.•Keeps management informed through regular activity reports and communications.•Meets or exceeds the required minimum daily sales calls as set by the Hub.•Develops and executes sales plans.•Maintains close contact with Hub Manager regarding sales activity, customer needs, prices, competitor activity, and product acceptability.•Completes required sales reports or documentation in a timely and accurate manner.•Meets or exceeds sales targets for the assigned territory.•Maintains or improves customer attrition rates.•Manages own expenses.•Supports and is committed to Quality Improvement Process, the guiding principles of Responsible Care, and the Company's Responsible Care Management System.
REQUIREMENTS
•High School Diploma a must•Minimum 6 months of inside/outside B2B sales
•Ability to demonstrate basic math and chemistry skills•Excellent communication & customer service skills•Strong closing skills•Must have reliable transportation
