We are currently seeking a Outside Sales: Base + Uncapped Commissions to become an integral part of the front-line service team for our US-CA-Santa Fe Springslocation.
YOUR CAPABILITIES:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our fast-paced sales team as a Commercial Sales Representative. This is an outside sales position that will report into our area district sales office. You will generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, recommending products/solutions/services and closing sales.
As a business professional, you will work an assigned territory to consistently identify new business opportunities and meet with decision-makers to analyze the customer’s requirements by performing a document-flow analysis. You will pinpoint areas for improvement and recommend solutions to streamline workflow and increase operating efficiency. The sell will be on value as you use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach that is unique to our industry and sets us apart. You will be expected to meet or exceed the projected dollar volumes in terms of sales and profitability, as well as meeting the sales activity requirements. With the intent of building long-term relationships you will prospect and close new accounts as well as service existing accounts in order to market additional Lanier products and solutions.
A 4-year college degree or prior experience (up to 3 years) in a competitive, outside B2B sales environment. College graduates must have very strong patterns of achievement and the specific desire to be in outside sales; prior experience/internships in sales and/or marketing, solid positions of leadership or experience in varsity sports is required.
If there is prior work experience, a demonstrated stability in job history must be present (no more than 3 jobs in 5 years).
A working knowledge of the sales process and a focus on customer satisfaction (candidates who are responsive and empathetic to customer needs).
Self-starters with a good work ethic, self-discipline, persistence, the ability to work independently or as a team and good time-management skills.
Professional presentation and organizational skills, as well as excellent PC and problem solving abilities; you must be a very activity-focused individual.
The commission-focused sales professional with aspirations of uncapped earning potential typically is the most successful.
