Position Purpose: Provides service to assigned accounts and prospects for new business within assigned areas. Supports and improves the performance of Territory Managers through lead generation and other support services while gaining the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to sell rental services and ancillary products.



Position Summary: Lead generation for sales accounts in niche/fragmented markets (i.e. municipalities, entertainment), smaller accounts (less than $20,000), or dormant/inactive accounts. May call on other accounts as assigned. Makes cold calls at job sites based on call list. Assists sales in effective contractor demo's/employee product knowledge sessions to enhance sell-through in targeted accounts. Hands off leads to appropriate Territory Manager. Assists as liaison between Inside Sales Coordinators and outside sales to complete orders for additional rentals or sales. Refers new customer to Inside Sales Coordinator for customer service support as necessary. Assists in preparing customer quotes, setting pricing of tools and small equipment within guidelines. May assist in Internet Sales Lead follow-up and qualifying. No more than 20% of the time should be spent performing non-exempt level work. Implements, sustains and develops quality process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations and customer service.

Requirements: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of inside or outside sales and/or equipment background. One (1) or more years of sales or customer service experience is preferred.



Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required.



Skills: Ability to learn and apply effective selling practices and techniques a must.



Licenses/Certification: Valid driver's license.



Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel and drive a motor vehicle for extended periods of time.
