Oracle Enterprise Middleware Solution Sr. Account Executive

The Fusion Middleware Sales Specialist is a senior sales representative with a proven sales track record. As a leader on the sales floor they work as a collaborative sales resource to drive sales focus on selling Oracle’s Fusion Middleware suite of solutions including, SOA, BPEL, BAM, Integration, Identity and Access Management, Business Intelligence as well as database and web development tools. They are an expert in resource utilization and a chief mentor to their peers and Core Technology sales teammates. The primary focus of the role is to sell a complete Oracle solution, drive enterprise programs, and act as prime strategist in competitive situations.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
·Bring focus to selling a business value/solution
·Work closely with the virtual team (OracleDirect and Field Core Tech Account Managers, Field Fusion Middleware Technology Sales Reps, Sales Consultants, Business Development, Product Marketing and the Technology Business Unit) to plan and execute a winning strategy for Oracle Middleware technology
·Cold call for new prospects on a daily basis
·Mine the installed base to upsell/migrate existing customers to 10gAS and associated tools
·Mine the existing pipeline to uncover opportunities to add 10gAS, BI, Tools
·Brief the Core Tech Account Team on 10gAS and tools product updates
·Train the Core Tech Account Team to position and sell the various components of the 10gAS product offering, including joint calls and mentoring whenever necessary
·Integrate with the Application Sales Team to determine fits within their customer/prospect space for 10gAS, Business Intelligence and Tools
·Create unique and repeatable programs aimed at increasing Oracle’s penetration in these markets

Preferred Qualifications:
·BA/BS from an accredited college/university
·3 - 6 years technical or application sales experience with a focus on solution selling to line of business leaders and C-Level executives
·Working knowledge of the Oracle 9i/10gAS roadmap relative to product components, technologies, and solutions
·Experience with competing technologies in the area of middleware and business intelligence
·Experience selling Oracle Core Technology or Applications is a plus
·Exceptional presentation skills
·Exceptional time management and organization skills
·Interest in a great opportunity to grow a new business market for Oracle while advancing career in IT sales or sales management

Career Path
Those Representatives who prove themselves to be exceptional have multiple growth opportunities within the company including Field Sales and OracleDirect Management. An 18-month minimum commitment within the role is expected before moving to another position within the company.
