Online Account Executive - Cars.com

Cars.com, the online automotive sales department of the Los Angeles Times is seeking an Online Account Executive. Incumbent will be responsible for selling online automotive advertising sales solutions to advertisers throughout the Westside and South Bay area.

The Online Account Executive will be directly responsible for identifying new prospects through cold calling/lead generation and appointment setting. The Online Account Executive will manage the client relationship and advertising needs. The position requires direct client interface including, oral and written sales presentations.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Minimum of 2 years sales experience selling online advertisements preferred or traditional advertising/marketing experience.
Automotive advertising experience is a huge plus
Strong computer skills including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Internet
Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools is desirable
Excellent communication/relationship managements skills and
Ability to think creatively and be self motivated
