We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Business Development and Sales Manager to manage our North East territory comprised of New Jersey, central Pennsylvania and New York City. As a Regional Manager you will seek new opportunities and be expected to develop and establish a new customer base in our North East territory. You will call on customers, provide product information and quote appropriate customer prices. You will coordinate sales efforts with inside sales team and provide flow of data on accounts, competitors and suppliers to product management. Business planning, customer education and relationship development activities will be critical to success. This position will also be responsible for supporting the identification and recruiting of new business relationships.
You must have 3 to 5 years outside sales experience in the computer industry. Successful candidates will have prior experience in enterprise computing solutions markets with 2 to 3 years field sales experience and be able to show proven results in developing marketing programs and strategic business opportunities. You must have strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills as well as knowledge of computer products and the computer market with an understanding of the sales cycle of prospecting, recruiting and developing customers. Distribution / channel experience working with Value Added Resellers preferred. Knowledge of Sun Microsystems products preferred.
