Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is looking for a New Business Analyst in their Client/Matter Administration. This position will focus efforts on assisting Partners, Associates, and Support staff in identifying potential conflict issues and New Business related information for a global law firm.

Responsibilities
' Process new client and matter reports associated with proposed new business.
' Perform conflict analysis on all proposed new client representations and facilitate proper communication and coordination of issues related to New Business Intake.
' Proactively communicate with firm Attorneys and support staff in each office to understand conflicts of interest issues and independently review, research and resolve conflicts issues related to firm new business.
' Compose written or verbal correspondence with attorneys and other support staff.
' Answer telephone and email inquiries for new business status requests.
' Proofread and re-checks material to confirm accuracy.
' Perform research, locating material from various sources inside and outside the Firm.
' Enter ongoing status information and maintain on-line documentation in database.
' Ensure compliance with ethical related to firm policies and procedures.
' Work as a team member with the other assistants in the New Business department.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
' Bachelor's degree required.
' Requires creative and analytical thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, presentation and leadership skills including the ability to effectively set goals and manage expectations on an individual and a team level.
' Requires excellent project management skills, research skills and the ability to effectively organize and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
' Strong client service, word processing and administrative tasks.
' Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
' Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and a diverse group.
' Strong analytical and attention to detail skills; ability to concentrate clearly on highly detailed information.
' Ability to identify conflicts of interest questions and resolve them in a consensus environment.
' Ability to keep confidential information regarding Firm New Business matters.
' Strong knowledge of MS Office products, Lotus Notes, Internet research methods and Elite Database knowledge a plus.
' Flexibility to work overtime.
' Previous law firm experience preferred.
