National Sales Manager- Instrumentation

Full time position as National Sales Manager (NSM) in a dynamic and high growth startup business environment. This productive hands-on manager will lead efforts to bring innovative technology products to an expanding marketplace and drive revenue to exceed profitability goals.

The NSM will lead all aspects of expanding domestic sales efforts. Responsibilities include:

·Report to VP of Sales and Marketing
·Responsible for all aspects of domestic sales planning and execution
·Responsible to achieve revenue objectives
·Create and implement domestic sales strategy
·Manage and participate in competitive sales process
·Work cross-functionally to accomplish sales objectives
·Develop and manage new and existing sales opportunities
·Manage internal and external sales channel resources, including independent sales representatives
·Develop and participate in outside sales activities, including on-site customer meetings, product demonstrations and seminars, and trade shows
·Provide sales forecast and other key metric reports
·Develop sales training and other sales material
·Provide feedback to other departments
·Frequent domestic travel is required, up to 50%
REQUIREMENTS
The successful NSM candidate will have 7 to 10 years of sales experience in a high profile technology firm. A strong entrepreneurial spirit and desire to make an immediate impact in a startup company environment is essential. Demonstrated ability to penetrate strategic accounts and exceed sales targets. Sales experience with an instrumentation provider would be a major asset for this position. Candidate must have strong intuitive business judgment, excellent communications skills. The candidate will possess cunning technical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. The candidate must exhibit the type of leadership, drive, and energy level to successfully carry out the duties of the position without sacrificing personal credibility and integrity. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrated the ability to be dynamic and persuasive in a professional setting. The ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and point of view is very important in this position.
