National Sales Manager – Business Development

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a National Sales Manager – Business Development within our Commercial Sales Department.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Responsible to meet the annual sales and sub goals of the MDU Direct line of business by hiring and managing personnel to sign new right of entry contracts.
Specifically, duties include (but are not limited to):
Hires and manages a sales team to sign and execute right of entry contracts to bring new properties into our porfolio of buisness.
Develops a sales strategy and works to excute the strategy both internally and externally.
Supervises and reviews proposals, term sheets, and other information prepared for internal and external sources.
Meets regularly with sales people to determine current opportunities, and works with them to meet goals.
Travels with sales people to meet with various clients and prospects.
Performs yearly reviews and other required paperwork on subordinates.
Facilitates contract negotiation, approval and execution.
Develops and fosters relationships with the largest owners and REITs in the country.
Develops a sales forecast and measures success against the forecast.
The NSM also ensures proper tracking of activity for reporting and management purposes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Echostar, and its product and industry from continued training, education and self-learning. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining detailed knowledge with respect to competition, demographics, products, programs, installation, service and pricing.
Acts in a lead capacity for a relatively small group of exempt and non-exempt employees. Performs the same job as the group with greater proficiency and assists with training.

job Requirements
Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and six plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures or government policy. Able to write reports/correspondence/procedure manuals, and present information and respond to questions from managers/customers/general public.
Ability to apply advanced mathematics; exponents/logarithms/quadratic equations/permutations. Able to apply mathematical operations to frequency distribution, determination of test reliability/validity, variance, correlation, sampling, and factor analysis.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
