National Account Manager (NAM)

The NAM’s primary responsibility is to canvas and develop the territory and accounts to which he/she has been assigned, and to sell into the assigned territory the approved products and services of the company. In addition, the NAM may be requested from time to time to perform additional marketing and sales duties within or outside their respective territories. The NAM is required to perform the following; keep current all account status information within his/her assigned accounts and territory, prepare weekly sales reports (proposals, pipeline, call and itinerary), sales presentations and demonstrations, and maintain current knowledge of all company products and services.



Function:

Manage new client acquisition and develop existing markets for company product solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:

Identification and acquisition of specific target accounts

Identification and expansion of existing client accounts classified as strategic

Management and identification of any expanded licensing requirements within the existing client base.
Participation in product demonstrations both at customer sites and via web conferencing.
Ongoing support of sales cycle including formulating responses to RFI/RFPs.
Enhance professional growth and development through participation in continuing education courses, professional organizations, seminars and workshops, reading current literature and maintaining professional contacts in the community.
Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.

The performance of the duties outlined above must be carried out within the guidelines of the company: to ensure a productive environment for employees; to treat all persons with dignity and respect; and to actively demonstrate an attitude of willing service and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of well developed and proven successful software sales experience required. The preferred candidate will possess software sales experience into corporate marketing; incentive; HR or travel companies/departments.
Firm understanding of the solution selling methodology
Superior oral/written communication skills
Well development presentation, customer relations, and leadership skills
Ability to develop and manage a pipeline
Ability to build and manage a new territory
Knowledge of target market industries
BA, BS required
Ability to travel 10% required
