Metro Sales Representative (MSR) - Houston & San Antonio
Husqvarna seeks a Metro Sales Representative (MSR) for the Houston & San Antonio market. Husqvarna is an industry leading, worldwide manufacturer of premium outdoor power equipment. We offer a strong compensation package (base salary, sales commission and yr. end bonus) and full benefits. No cap on commissions! Plus company vehicle, demo equipment, mobile phone and lap-top computer. First year income potential is $75,000.
Add value for Husqvarna Retailers and Husqvarna by cultivating a Total Source business relationship that facilitates each business partner’s growth, optimal performance, and success. Secure and develop new dealers that help meet sales and market-share goals for the territory. Plan, enhance, and measure the performance of assigned dealers. Service dealers and be prepared for daily travel, with overnight travel as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties:
1.Develop a plan to increase company brand position in assigned territory.
2.Gain dealers commitment & orders
3.Make planned dealer-calls and chronicle the discussions and outcomes of the visits.
4.Demonstrate equipment and provide product application learning opportunities.
5.Facilitate the success of sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns.
6.Acquaint dealers with the latest selling techniques.
7.Be familiar with dealer inventory levels and provoke adjustments as required.
8.Present Husqvarna at trade, industry, and dealer shows.
9.Call on designated National Retailers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must demonstrate a verifiable record of high performance and exceptional reliability in outside sales. Candidates should have a working knowledge of 2 and 4-cycle engine technology supported by sales, cold calling, and closing skills. Presentation skills and computer/software acumen are a must.
