Marketing and Business Development Manager
Marketing and Business Development Manager (Technical Sales)
Responsible for Sales Support activities including marketing plans for the SBU (Strategic Business Unit). Ensures the appropriate sales analysis and market research is available and utilized to support SBU RFP response and decision-making in targeting of markets and generating of cost proposals. Development and communication of market strategies to target the appropriate customer groups and products to grow market share and revenue.
DUTIES:
Analysis in support of sales, proposal and contract management and administration, business case support and substantiation
Develops marketing customer strategy to meet the SBU business requirements for RFP responses for specified target operators and/or products
Conducts market research studies on competitors, customers, products, and industry trends
Ensures cost and product analysis information is available to support business decision-making
Communicates market strategies to support strategic business initiatives and ensures communications reach target customer groups
Contributes to the development of competitive intelligence to ensure optimum sales volume and profits are achieved by the SBU
Ensures that positive customer relations are maintained
Prepares proposals in conjunction with various SBU and segment personnel
Conducts customer visits, prepares and performs product delivery presentations, provides product support, and performs other sales and marketing functions as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal Candidates for this position will have:
Aerospace specific experience in marketing, business development, and sales , management experience preferred
Strong analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and decision making skills
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
College degree in business administration or economics.
