Marketing Manager
This position encompasses strategic and tactical marketing responsibilities within the healthcare industry. This position will rely on a small internal team, and will select and manage appropriate consultants and consulting firms to develop and implement all marketing efforts for the company.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Job Functions:
•Overall responsibility for development and implementation of all of Haemoscope’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both internal and external
•Direct the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations functions, and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with other areas within Haemoscope
•Oversee the development and implementation of support materials and services for sales team and distributor partners
•Manage short- and long-term plans and budgets for the Marketing department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance
•Ensure consistent communication of Haemoscope’s desired image and position throughout the marketplace, the organization, and to all customers, internal and external
•Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all publications across multiple media authored or sponsored by Haemoscope
Skills Required:
•Demonstrated ability to implement effective marketing strategies that increase market share, increase brand awareness, and drive sales
•Hands-on experience in all phases of vertical and horizontal marketing and brand management
•Working knowledge of all phases of new product development and launch
•Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new ideas for printed and online marketing materials including web sites, and videos
•Ability to understand, interpret, adapt, and communicate complex medical topics, simplifying when needed for alternate audience
•Ability to effectively manage marketing budget and project timelines
•Ability to manage multi-focused priorities and multiple projects
•Exemplary, demonstrated writing skills
•Excellent oral and written presentation skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude
•Superior computer skills and sound knowledge of marketing principles, graphic design, page layout, project management, and CRM software
•Experience in creating and monitoring marketing metrics to track program effectiveness
