Marketing/Business Development Coordinator - Senior Level
This position is open due to promotion. This is a very diverse marketing/business development opportunity in which you will be responsible for event planning, graphics development, communications, branding and pitch efforts. In addition you will work closely with vendors, attorneys and staff to enusre that client satisfaction is achieved throughout all position responsibilities. Specific responsibilities include: • Plan and execute events such as conference sponsorships, trade show activities and seminars, as needed. • Prepare client presentation materials such as requests for proposals, client pitches, presentations, etc. • Conduct market research utilizing Firm and online resources, including Lexis, Hoovers, and Martindale Hubbell, etc. • Assist in writing proposal drafts and pitches. • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to identify new marketing opportunities, develops new approaches to business development needs and creates new processes to improve efficiencies. • Prepare and edits business development documents, budgets, collateral materials, correspondence, reports, memoranda, e-mails, and other written correspondence. • Work closely with firmwide marketing and office administrative staff to coordinate external directory listings and survey information. • Regularly tracks New York office marketing activities (business development reports), business proposals and contacts through the use of various databases. • Monitor local and national legal and trade publications in regard to reviewing client related topics. Graphics: • Works directly with Senior Marketing Manager to apply brand standards and create marketing collateral for seminars, conferences, social events, announcements, advertisements, brochures, etc. • Coordinates efforts and works with creative staff in the San Francisco office to utilize templates/files, as needed. • Liaise with graphic designers, prepares files for print production, and performs press checks. • Researches stock photos online to translate branding of events into visual identity. • Creates PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications; updates data and graphics for service reports
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include: QUALIFICATIONS: ? B.A. in Marketing, Communications or related field. ? Two plus years of marketing-related experience. ? Ability to work independently, work under pressure and maintain flexibility regarding work assignments. ? Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize, and follow instructions essential. ? Proficiency in the MS Office Suite. ? Superior writing and verbal skills. ? Experience with and working knowledge of graphics programs e.g. Quark or InDesign a plus.
